ASC Scientific offers the standard series components, for ordinary soil sampling, the new and improved AMS Signature Series components, for easier sampling, and all stainless steel components, for environmental low-contamination sampling.  Standard and stainless steel augers have 5/8"-11 threaded coupling for attachment to extensions and the cross handle.  Signature Series Augers have "Quick Spin" threads for faster, more trouble-free connections.
